A water softener unit which utilizes ion exchange resin. This unit is needed for industries which need soft water for industrial processes or for steam boilers. Our softener unit is designed to enable easy and efficient backwashing. The soft water produced is high quality. Relatively small amount of water is needed for regeneration and rinse off. The cost of operation is economical due to high regeneration efficiency.
Ion exchange resin as a filtering media. Cation exchange resin with a polystyrene matrix and divenyl benzene cross linking with sulfon acid. These materials provide a large water softener capacity with a high heat and chemical stability. This ion exchange resin has an ability to remove calcium and magnesium salt so that the total hardness approaches zero and results in a very low operating capacity.
